APPSeCONNECT uses a license to uniquely identify a machine. This is a security feature that uniquely identifies a machine such that when you try to log in using another project, you would be barred to do so. Your machine is locked to a particular account and it needs to be released from the cloud to install it for a different account.

Scenario – What If Your APPSeCONNECT License is not Working?
Let us say when you try to log in, you see the following message.
1. You see a message saying “Your machine is already registered with ComputerName”. Now this means you are trying to login into a machine that is already registered for another customer. If you are a partner, it is highly recommended to use “Temporary license” to access the project.
2. You could also see a message saying “License key not found” which means you have somehow corrupted the current license.
3. Sometimes you see a message like “License key not valid” while you log in. This is another case where your license key got changed somehow such that the data could not be validated again from our servers.
Solution
To fix this issue,
1. Log in to the account.
2. Open Project – In this case, it is “RajibInsync”.
3. Select Manage – Environment.
4. Find the machine listed in the environment section.
5. Select the appropriate environment and click on Delete.
The delete environment will untag the environment from the server and make it available for another account to use the machine.
Once you delete it, go to your local agent, and log in again. This time, the machine will again be automatically tagged to the new account. Remember, if you have already installed many agents to the account and it is beyond our expected limit, APPSeCONNECT can still say that it could not tag the machine. In this case, you might need to go to the new account and delete some of the unnecessary agents.
If that account is expired or you do not have access to it anymore, please contact our support at support@appseconnect.com. Our support team will help you remove your machine from our server.
