Remote Connection Wizard Package

RSP 3.2 includes the Remote Connection Wizard Package. It is used to simplify the Implementation and configuration of Routers and it is also used to manage the Environment for Remote Connection at the Customer End. There are three functions present in the Remote Connection Wizard Package:

  • Remote Connection and Configuration Wizard, to book service
  • Software Installation Wizard, to install and configure Router
  • Remote Connection Server Opener Wizard, to initiate and terminate Remote Connection

RSP 3.2 Remote Connection Management

  • Login to RSP
  • Select Option File -> Manage SAP Remote Connection
  • Run the Embedded Wizards in a specific order
  • To run each Wizard, choose the link with Wizard name

Remote Connection & Configuration Wizard

  • Enter Customer’s S User, Password and System Number
  • Book the required service from the available list
  • Use Proxy Setting if needed, it’s optional

Software Installation Wizard

  • Software Installation Wizard is used to Install and Configure SAP Router
  • Enter S User ID, Password, System Number and Public Static IP Address
  • SAP Router Password and Proxy (Optional)
  • It automatically checks system requirements and downloads software components
  • Press “Install” from Downloaded Software Components to install SAP Router
  • Use Test Connection Button and check the result summary
  • SAP Server Successfully connected to your SAP Router, a message will be shown against successful connection
  • For Error, you will see, contact your Business One Partner or open Support ticket: SBO-RSP-SER

Remote Connection Service Opener

  • Click on User Service and enter User Name
  • Click on Corresponding Password Service and enter/set new Password
  • SAP Router Password (Optional)

Green Colored Tick means Service will be Opened. Red Colored Cross means Service will be Closed
