Here are some of the questions asked during the webinar:
1. Who will handle the updates?
In terms of APPSeCONNECT, we have two offerings – one is the Cloud offering and the other one is the on-premise offering. In case of the Cloud offering, any update to our platform on our server will be readily available to the users (all the updates). However, in case of the on-premise offering, the APPSeCONNECT Agent would not be updated automatically – your IT Manager would have to go to your server and install the latest version to get the updates.
2. What if APPSeCONNECT is connected to SAP Business One?
Yes, it can connect SAP Business One, SPAP ByDesign, as well as SAP ECC, All in One or HANA with any external application – eCommerce, ERP, CRM, etc. There is a list of apps that we connect using our integration platform.
3. Are integration patterns one-to-one or one-to-many?
Our solution is an iPaaS platform so it actually follows the one-to-many pattern scheme. In case data is received via the platform, it can be sent to many applications as and when required – if there is an API, we can easily push data to any application.
4. What is the development environment available?
So, as we have already said, we are completely on the web. Thus, in case of any most of the things like mapping and customizations or workflows, they can be easily accessed or changed from the web. However, we haven’t stopped the benefit of defining a connection using codes – in that case, you can download our SDK and you can build the connector using C# or any other high-level language.
