With continuous work in the field of innovation and technology, driving businesses towards a specified goal with best-of-the-breed solutions, APPSeCONNECT had amazing growth over the years in becoming one of the leading players of the iPaaS industry.

Ending the year with amazing feedbacks on the success of Cloud Integration, APPSeCONNECT kicked off the new year with the launch of its new version, APPSeCONNECT 4.1.0. This upgrade was introduced on 2nd January 2019.

This comprehensive article will share the details of the new release and will guide a user through the New AEC features, Portal & Integration Enhancements, Workflows, API Management, Adapters, Plugins, AEC Agents and Product Documentation.

This biggest enhancement launched with this release is the introduction of API Management within the portal. This will allow a user to create, manage, deploy and maintain APIs for an organization such that the APIs can be easily tracked inside the organization. With this feature, APPSeCONNECt has grown to become a more robust platform.

This release witnessed the development of a generic third-party logistics adapter by APPSeCONNECT which will be able to integrate applications to any third-party logistics.

There have been several enhancements to the existing features of APPSeCONNECT which aims at catering to and enriching the business processes of any organization. Pre-packaged workflows in the portal have been introduced for a smoother and convenient business flow. This feature allows any user to either access or add any workflow (Touchpoint from base) to the workflow section and start with the visual designing of their business logic. It is important to note that APPSeCONNECT has taken the time out to efficiently migrate all the base Touchpoints in the workflow section for now. This feature will reduce the extra effort spent on creating a Touchpoint and then creating the workflow for it – now, with APPSeCONNECT 4.1, business logic incorporated within the workflows will serve as the integration design for any business process.Integrate-Business-Apps-through-APPSeCONNECT

The Priority ERP adapter has also had an enhancement –  APPSeCONNECT Priority Adapter has got a new feather in the cap, by the ability in effective log management and the capability of data sync of Priority with any application on the go. Also, the APPSeCONNECT Microsoft Dynamics GP Adapter now comes packed with Plugin support which makes it vigorous by supporting multiple databases for storing logs in different databases and making integration with MS Dynamics GP strong in On-Premise environment.

There has been a significant improvement in the Priority + Shopify connector – Sales Orders and Inventory items can now easily be synced between these two applications.

APPSeCONNECT Platform has also witnessed certain improvements in the overall working. Conditional Mapping on Target XML has been introduced; this feature has upgraded the mapping in APPSeCONNECT Portal to another level with the Introduction of “IF-ELSE Condition Mapping”. The Mapping structure is now implemented and executed according to the ‘If-Else-If statement syntax’ which enables smooth data transformation by applying Conditional Mapping.

AEC Platform also provides the user with the functionality of Grouping of Conditions as per the business requirements and thereby catering to business scenarios seamlessly. The users can now have multiple conditions that are interlinked or grouped.

APPSeCONNECT also introduced “specially designed snapshot to view workflow execution” over the data transferred through integration. The users can now get the complete overview of the transaction made at the node level in the user interface. You can find the details in the release notes.

APPSeCONNECT has also enhanced several adapter and plugins in the release tenure. APPSeCONNECT brings to the user the OLE Database Generic Adapter which supports the OLEDB-based applications to implement any connection to data sources. This adapter also supports API Management. So, it can be easily be managed by APIs as well. AEC Portal also comes packed with the functionality of uploading & adding Adapter in the portal where the user can upload the adapter for an app and update the native app resources all in one go. This integral functionality saves time and eases out the integration process. In addition to that, AEC now provides pre-packaged MySQL plugin for storage such that the user can use MYSQL as the backend database.

Finally, to enrich the knowledge base of employees, customers and partners, APPSeCONNECT Grammar & Syntax Tutorial is made available on the APPSeCONNECT learning portal.
