- Since Product sync works bidirectionally, updates made to existing products with details in SAP S/4HANA will also be synced to Shopify.
- Updates made to any product in SAP S/4HANA (where product is already available in Shopify), the details will be synced to Shopify as well.
Customer
- New Customer
New customer’s account, contact information, billing and shipping address etc. will be synchronized from Shopify to SAP S/4HANA Business Partner Master Data. - Existing Customer
Existing web customer’s details are downloaded from Shopify to SAPS/4HANA automatically in real time.
Inventory
- Inventory level updates in SAP S/4HANA will be synced to Shopify, updating the item quantity in Shopify.
Sales Order
- New orders placed on the Shopify website will be synced to SAP S/4HANA as Sales Transaction Entry under the Sales section, with all the details such as item orders, amount, customer information, etc.
All the web orders will be posted in SAP under an individual customer.
Invoice
- Invoices generated in SAP S/4HANA are synced to Shopify automatically.
Price
- Updates in Product Prices in SAP S/4HANA will be seamlessly synced to Shopify for accurate pricing.
- Alternatively, product price changes in Shopify eCommerce will be synced in real-time in SAP S/4HANA.
Order Fulfillment
- Any order fulfillment from the Order Fulfillment section under Sales in SAP S/4HANA will be synced to Shopify with details such as tracking number, shipping method, etc.
